The OWLs Family Oasis Foundation was established to continue the legacy of two extraordinary servants whose lives reflected unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to helping others: Bishop Alexander Williams, Sr., Senior Pastor of Greater New Jerusalem Apostolic Faith Church, and the Late Kathleen Williams (February 22, 1960 – September 1, 2020).
Through their lives, they demonstrated that true service is not measured by resources, but by the heart to give. Their impact continues to inspire a mission focused on uplifting families, strengthening communities, and providing resources where there are few. It exists to expand the seeds they planted-serving others with love, compassion, and faith!
Their lives remind us that great impact does not require great wealth-only a heart committed to serving others. Their legacy continues through every act of compassion, every life touched, and every opportunity created for someone in need. This foundation stands as a living testament to their faith, love, and dedication to people.
Our Inspiration
The OWLs Family Oasis Foundation was born from the example and sacrifices of Bishop Alexander Williams, Sr. and Kathleen Williams, who devoted their lives to servicing both the spiritual and natural needs of people in their church, community, and beyond. They genuinely loved people. Helping those in need was not something they did occasionally-it was a way of life. They served faithfully without expecting recognition or reward. Many times they gave from their own personal earnings and sacrificed their time, energy, and personal desires simply to help others. Even when resources were limited, their vision never diminished. Their lives demonstrated the true meaning of the scriptures: “…It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35.

Bishop Alexander Williams, Sr. has faithfully served the spiritual and practical needs of countless individuals and families. His leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to ministry have created culture of love, service, and community impact. Through pastoral leadership and personal sacrifice, he has guided many toward spiritual growth while also addressing real-life needs within the community.
Kathleen Williams
(2/22/1960 - 9/1/2020)
Kathleen Williams exemplified unconditional love, compassion, and service. Her heart for helping others extended beyond family and church to anyone she encountered. She gave selflessly, often placing the needs of others before her own. Her life remains a powerful example of resilience, generosity, and faith. Her legacy continues to inspire the work of the foundation today.
Our Vision
The long-term vision of the foundation is the development of a Family Life Center in a community that currently has severely limited resources. This center will provide a safe and empowering environment where individuals and families can access tools that promote growth, health, and opportunity. The Family Life Center will serve as a holistic hub for community transformation.

Compensation for services provided by partners is at fair market value and fully documented.
